What We Learnt: Crystal Palace 5-1 Newcastle

Another weekend and another defeat for Newcastle United.

Once again, today there were no ideas, no confidence and, sad to say, no hope.

When Papiss Cissé struck in the 10th minute, even the most pessimistic of fans wouldn’t have predicted what followed.

However, Newcastle capitulated in an all too familiar fashion, which has relegation written all over it.

After this heartless performance, I am pretty lost for words, but here’s what we learnt from today’s game.
