Predicted XI: Newcastle vs Crystal Palace

Newcastle host Crystal Palace tomorrow afternoon in a game that would possibly see Rafa’s side out of the relegation zone if results go our way.

Newcastle will be full of confidence and belief they can stay up after a tremendous fightback at Anfield to take home a well-earned point. Alan Pardew’s side reached the FA cup final last Sunday after defeating Watford 2-1, Newcastle fans will be hoping Pardew and his players have one eye on the final in order to alleviate the pressure on this tense relegation battle. The south London side are not mathematically safe themselves but it would be a minor miracle if they were to be relegated, the last time the two sides met it was a dismal day for the travelling Toon army witnessing a gutless display that resulted in a 5-1 Palace victory.

Rafa Benitez has made some bold decisions with squad selection as of late and it has proved to be a working formula, don’t expect any change apart from a possible return or two on the bench.

This is my predicted side for Saturdays game.

matchday.
