These Newcastle fans react to training images ahead of Wolves clash

Newcastle host Wolves at St. James’ Park in the Premier League this weekend as they look to jump out of the bottom three.

Steve Bruce’s side are 18th in the table after their 1-0 loss to Chelsea last week, having won two of their opening nine games.

The club released images from training this week, showing off the work the players are doing to prepare for the match.

READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT

There is no doubting that Shelvey has had a tough start to the season. He has lost his place in the starting line-up in midfield after some costly mistakes in previous games, allowing the Longstaff brothers to start alongside each other.

Shelvey has been prone to letting games pass him by in midfield, failing to control matches and allowing opposition attackers to drift past him and create space. His one highlight this season was his goal against Norwich, which was a mere consolation after being dominated throughout the match by Moritz Leitner and Tom Trybull for the newly-promoted side.

matchday.
