Newcastle United predicted XI vs Bournemouth (H)

After further disappointment for Newcastle United away at Stoke on Wednesday night, the Magpies host AFC Bournemouth on Saturday this weekend.

Xherdan Shaqiri’s late strike condemned United to a 7th straight away defeat, but Newcastle have looked far better at home recently, and will hope for another good display at St. James’ Park against Bournemouth.

The game is certainly looking to be very important, both for United’s Premier League status, and Steve McClaren’s position as head coach.

McClaren made four changes for Wednesday’s late defeat to Stoke, and he could make more changes made for the visit of the Cherries.

Newcastle have the likes of Siem de Jong and Vurnon Anita closing in on a return to the first-team, and we could see them feature this weekend.

Here, we take a look at our predicted line-up for Saturday’s must-win clash.
