Player Ratings: Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle

You could say Newcastle are the most unpredictable team in the Premier League!

After last week’s thrilling and heroic 2-0 victory over Liverpool at St. James’ Park, Steve McClaren’s resurged Magpies travelled to White Hart Lane to take on Tottenham Hotspur.

An unchanged lineup was named, and the Toon faithful remained cautiously optimistic. Eric Dier headed the Lily Whites in front in the 40th minute, but Newcastle were most definitely still in the game.

After the arrival of Ayoze Perez and Aleksandar Mitrovic, the complexion of the game totally changed. The big Serb notched the equaliser, and amazingly, Perez nicked the winner in added time.

Here’s our player ratings from the win.
