Which was Newcastle’s best result in April?

Newcastle had a great ending to April with two win’s and two draw’s to help boost their bid for survival.

Newcastle got their first win at St James’ Park against Swansea in the middle of April with a 3-0 win.

The Magpies then faced Manchester City days later at St James’ Park, with many expecting Manchester City to come away with three points, But Rafa’s men had other idea’s and Vernon Anita’s goal made sure the game ended 1-1 in a game Newcastle was not expected to get too much from.

A tough trip to face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool followed and it looked like being another miserable away day for Newcastle as they went 2-0 down, only for super sub Mitrovic to come and deliver the goods scoring a penalty and Colback fired home a deflected shot as Newcastle left Anfield with a point.

Newcastle’s latest test came from former manager Alan Pardew and his Crystal Palace side, but a superb Andros Townsend free-kick separated the sides to give the Magpies three points and lift them out of the relegation zone.

We have created this winner stays on duel to find out with game you think was the best in April.
