Newcastle predicted XI: Leicester (H)

Rafa Benitez will be hoping that Newcastle can finally pick up a win as Leicester City visit St James Park.

Five of Newcastle’s last six games have ended in defeat, with the Magpies dropping to fifteenth place in the table. Newcastle have conceded 12 goals in their last four games, with defensive woes being a considerable factor to their poor form.

Jamaal Lascelles and Christian Atsu are both doubts for the visit of the foxes. The pair are both nursing injuries, and are probably not in contention to start. Paul Dummett is also unlikely to feature, with the left back struggling with a hamstring issue.

Leicester will be without Robert Huth and Matty James, who are both suffering injury problems. Leicester are seeking a third consecutive victory after beating Tottenham and Burnley.

Here’s how we predict Newcastle will line up on Saturday at St James’ Park for the visit of Leicester City.

matchday.
