Newcastle fans react to debut of winger Allan Saint-Maximin against Arsenal

Newcastle suffered defeat in Steve Bruce’s first Premier League game in charge, with Arsenal running out 1-0 winners at St James’ Park.

However, despite the result, Bruce was able to hand Premier League debuts to several players, including Allan St Maximin.

On social media, several Newcastle fans reacted to the debut of the Frenchman.

Martin thinks that the attacker will be an entertainer once he properly gets going at Newcastle.

Rares believes that Saint-Maximin will be a nightmare for visitors at St James’ Park.

Josh thinks that Saint Maximin had a good game, but he still needs to improve his final product.

Cheif Orator thinks that the winger has that special something that should excite fans this season.

It was a decent afternoon for the Frenchman, who showed some sparks of ability after being subbed on.

He will almost certainly start at Norwich, and Steve Bruce will be hoping for more from his new signing.

Saint-Maximin almost has to start, especially after some players in the Newcastle side didn’t perform that well at all in the defeat.

matchday.
