These Chelsea fans react to injury crisis ahead of Newcastle clash

Newcastle travel to Stamford Bridge this weekend as they face Frank Lampard’s Chelsea in the Premier League.

Ahead of the game, Chelsea have been dealt another injury blow – with N’Golo Kante and Andreas Christensen both set to miss out.

Of course, any injuries to Chelsea’s best players is going to be a positive for Newcastle. It will give Newcastle a marginally better chance of picking up a result against Chelsea this weekend, which Steve Bruce will be delighted to hear – no doubt.

Kante has scored twice in four games from holding midfield, so Newcastle’s players will be glad to hear that they are unlikely to be facing him. The French international has been one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League in recent years, so it would be a huge boost for Newcastle if he does miss the match.

matchday.
