“What a player” – Newcastle fans in awe of Saint-Maximin

Allan Saint-Maximin will still be haunting the West Ham United defenders today morning.

The Newcastle United speedster was in top form at the London Stadium as the Magpies picked up a crucial 3-2 victory in the Premier League.

Saint-Maximin was a key reason for the success as his pace and trickery got Steve Bruce’s men into goalscoring opportunities on multiple occasions.

Scouted Football posted his amazing match stats on Twitter and these Newcastle fans couldn’t contain their pleasure…

Saint-Maximin was electric and the fans are absolutely right to be praising him.

He did have two glorious chances to get his name on the scoresheet as he raced clear on goal, but both his finishes were tame and easily saved.

That could be one area of improvement for the new arrival. If he starts to add goals to his game, then he’ll definitely become one of the league’s most dangerous players.

matchday.
